Sea-O-Salt Bath Company was founded with a vision to help people take care of their skin and hair naturally with high quality, artisanal products that offer value for money and a deeply pleasurable bathing experience.
What we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies and impacts the larger ecosystem. Handcrafted in small batches, our products are gentle and nourishing for all skin and hair types. We use natural, “clean”, close-to-nature raw materials. We choose organic and wildcrafted whenever possible.
Sustainability and minimizing the ecological impact of commerce is important to us. We choose eco-friendly product packaging that is recyclable or compostable—no plastic—we up-cycle waste material in our shipping department, and seek ways to eliminate waste in our production processes.

Meet the Maker
After 12 years handcrafting tens of thousands of tons of soap, shampoo, lotions, salves and more—both small and large batch—for three nationally and internationally distributed natural products companies, Justin Siosal co-founded Sea-O-Salt Bath Company with a passion to preserve and enjoy the art and science of cold process soap making and small-batch natural product formulation.
Justin especially enjoys composing unique and compelling aromas that are balanced, full-bodied but with subtlety—they are meant to be enjoyed while you use the product — rather than lingering and being overbearing.

Justin and Matsya married in 2007 and Team Siosal was born. Sea-O-Salt Bath Company is the next leg of our partnership journey and is the culmination of both our extensive personal and professional experiences in plant-based body care, handcrafting, small and large scale production, and all facets of business management.
Co-founder Matsya Siosal is passionate about natural healing, cultivating synergy with the plant world, and is an avid product sampler. Matsya has been exploring and benefitting from herbalism for nearly 30 years and loves collaborating with Justin on product development ideas in addition to working on Sea-O-Salt’s business needs.
